sarah brightman - dust in the wind

August 14, 2008

original artist: kansas

what makes this great: first of all, this is a female version so it has this sweet and soothing appeal. the strings arrangement here is magnificent and it is something that can make the hair at the back of your neck stand up. it complemented brightman's voice which is truly one of a kind and i swear, you'll never get tired of hearing it over and over again.

DUST IN THE WIND
sarah brightman

I close my eyes, only for a moment and the moment's gone.
All my dreams pass before my eyes in curiosity.
Dust in the wind.
All they are is dust in the wind.
Same old song.
Just a drop of water in an endless sea.
All we do crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see.
Dust in the wind.
All we are is dust in the wind.

Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky.
It slips away and all your money won't another minute buy.
Dust in the wind.
All we are is dust in the wind.
Dust in the wind.
Everything is dust in the wind.
